Blade Battle 5

If you have never witnessed a Blade Battle, it ain’t nothing like the scene from the Roller Rink in @strangerthingstv season 4, except maybe when El/ Eleven/ Jane confronts Angela…. ok, ok I’m joking about that. BUT I’m deadly serious when I say the level of skating is phenomenal.

To learn more about this epic day of cash and prize garnering roller skating, or register to take part, check out their @facebook page. Alternatively you can register on the day from 9am.

Helmets are a must, naturally.

"Please join us on Good Friday, 14th April 2017 as Laverton Skate Centre returns with the city's largest ever pop-up roller rink! It's all happening at Good Friday Appeal's "Kid's Day Out" to raise much-needed funds for the Royal Children's Hospital!

Laverton Skate Centre volunteers everything required for this skate event, including our time. All proceeds raised is donated to the appeal on the day.

During multiple skate sessions held across the day, we will have a huge rink for serious skaters, plus a smaller rink for younger kids & beginner skaters. Expect a top variety of music for the day, skate games, slalom skate performances, junior roller sports demonstrations and more!

Entry to a session is minimum $5 donation (per session) to the appeal and for the record, we don't like giving change, because the kids need every dollar we can raise for them! Skating multiple sessions requires multiple donations."
