The Bayside Blades crew want to keep you dry, warm and rolling so here are six of our favourite places to skate to avoid the winter blues:

THE SHED SKATE PARK

5 Berwick-Cranbourne Rd, Cranbourne East VIC 3977

The shed skatepark is a huge indoor skate park good for beginner to advanced aggressive inline and roller skaters.

The shed features a large skate park, vert ramp, bowl and various resi ramps and foam pit.

The resi ramps (ramps designed with a softer landing for learning new tricks) and foam pit are stand out additions to The Shed that make it ideal for progressing and challenging yourself.

It has a shop with snacks and drinks.

LILYDALE SKATE CENTRE 

34 Industrial Park Drive, Lilydale, Victoria 3140

The Lilydale skate centre is an indoor roller rink good for beginner to advanced recreational, speed, artistic, derby, slalom and hockey inline and roller skaters.

The skate centre features great coaching programs in multiple disciplines. 

It has a shop with snacks and drinks.

THE PARK GEELONG

402 Thompson Road North Geelong, VIC, Australia 3215

The Park Geelong is a huge indoor skate park with a street course, vert ramp, mini ramps and a mini-mega ramp.

The mini-mega ramp is a stand out addition to the skate park with a 5.5 meter jump box and 4.6 meter quarter pipe. 

It has a shop with snacks and drinks.

CARIBBEAN ROLLERAMA

Caribbean Rollerama is an indoor roller rink good for beginner to advanced recreational, speed and artistic inline and roller skaters. The venue hosts a number of themed skate nights for skaters young and old.

The skate centre features great coaching programs in multiple disciplines along with a dedicated speed skating program.

It has a shop with snacks, drinks and merch.

Sk8house

SK8House is a huge indoor roller rink good for good for beginner to advanced recreational, speed inline and roller skaters. The venue boasts an impressive learn to skate program along with speed skating classes.

It has a shop with snacks, drinks and hire skates.

Melbourne Museum

The large undercover space at the front of the Melbourne Museum is smooth with wind cover and a popular destination for recreational, street and slalom skating.
