Crafted in partnership with Powerslide, PlayLife, MyFit, Kizer, and Robbie Pitts’ world of Otto Novo, FANTASY 72 is a vibrant retro meets future skate design, made for a world where function and fashion work hand-in-hand.
For as space age as it may appear, FANTASY 72’s performance is as impressive as its looks. It begins by utilising the PlayLife boot as the bedrock for the design, which whilst have been given a makeover, the skate remains reliable and familiar with its sleek and classic supportive hard-shell fit.
Robbie’s new pro model Prime Liner sits inside the shell, illuminating the skate’s blue translucent PU material with a glow from the inside out. It is tailored to his exacting standards for not only comfort but of course: aesthetics—appropriately decorated using neon and fur.
The Liner additionally features moveable velcro patches that can be placed on the outside material adding an extra layer of flair that is visible beneath the skate’s exterior.
Envisioning a hybrid skating experience, Robbie wanted to provide a skate where the modes of recreational and aggressive are interchangeable in a moment’s notice. The combination of the Sway soul plate and the KIZER Advance 72 frame allow for a world where speed and manoeuvrability become intertwined with grinding accessibility. Finally the skate rolls on multicoloured 72mm wheels with Wicked ABEC 9 chrome bearings, to not only brighten up the world’s most rugged terrain but to ensure a smooth and effortless ride.

We ship using Australia Post and Couriers Please. All shipping costs have been wavered for items send via standard freight option, if you would like your order to be shipped via Express Post, please add your products to the cart and proceed to the shipping section of the checkout process and select Express Post option. You will receive a quote based on you orders size and postal address.
Most order will be shipped by Australia Post. Couriers Please will require a signature on delivery (or an Authority to Leave) so they can not deliver to a PO Box or Parcel Locker.
Delivery signature: Please note that Couriers Please require a signature on delivery so please use a shipping address where someone will be able to receive your parcel during business hours. If a signature cannot be obtained, a delivery notice will be left by the courier advising when the next delivery will be attempted. If a signature cannot be obtained on the second delivery attempt the item will be returned to Bayside Blades. Parcels shipped with Australia Post will be left at your local Post Office for pickup no one is available to receive it.
If you Live in Melbourne and would like to pick your order up from our store in Braeside (4/200-208 Boundary Rd, Braeside VIC 3195), please wait until you receive a confirmation your order is ready for collection, before heading to the shop to collect it.
It is not always possible for us to keep every product on hand at the shop, so there may be a short delay before your goods are available for collection. We will notify you once your order is ready to be picked up.
While we try to keep as many products in our store as possible, we only have limited room for stock. We offer some products as "online-only", which means we don't stock them in our physical store and have them stored off-site at our warehouse.
If you opt for "in-store pick up" for your web order, please be aware there may be a short delay while we arrange to have the stock sent to our retail store from the warehouse.
