Matter’s Propel is a track-focused 110mm speed wheel built around patented OBL (Oblique) offset-core technology. It gives you a dedicated Force side and Flex side so the wheel works harder in left-hand turns and then snaps you forward down the straight with better energy return. Made in the USA with high-performance American polyurethane, the F1 compound delivers a balanced footprint (roughly 86A) that offers grip, control and durability when it matters most.
Why skaters choose the Propel
OBL offset core – Stiffer Force side on the inside + more compliant Flex side on the outside. You stay planted and stable through the corner, then get that extra “propel” feeling as the core unloads out of the turn.
F1 footprint – Matter’s F1 is comparable to an XF or roughly 86A. It prioritises contact patch and performance under load over a simple hardness number, giving confident grip without feeling soft or slow.

How to set it up
For full benefit of the OBL design, install the wheels so the Flex side faces the outside of the track on both skates (writing/markings typically face outward). Many skaters also run them successfully in either direction depending on preference, weight and event.
Best suited to skating tracks and indoor/endurance racing. Not the first choice for rough outdoor road surfaces.

We ship using Australia Post and Couriers Please. All shipping costs have been wavered for items send via standard freight option, if you would like your order to be shipped via Express Post, please add your products to the cart and proceed to the shipping section of the checkout process and select Express Post option. You will receive a quote based on you orders size and postal address.
Most order will be shipped by Australia Post. Couriers Please will require a signature on delivery (or an Authority to Leave) so they can not deliver to a PO Box or Parcel Locker.
Delivery signature: Please note that Couriers Please require a signature on delivery so please use a shipping address where someone will be able to receive your parcel during business hours. If a signature cannot be obtained, a delivery notice will be left by the courier advising when the next delivery will be attempted. If a signature cannot be obtained on the second delivery attempt the item will be returned to Bayside Blades. Parcels shipped with Australia Post will be left at your local Post Office for pickup no one is available to receive it.
If you Live in Melbourne and would like to pick your order up from our store in Braeside (4/200-208 Boundary Rd, Braeside VIC 3195), please wait until you receive a confirmation your order is ready for collection, before heading to the shop to collect it.
It is not always possible for us to keep every product on hand at the shop, so there may be a short delay before your goods are available for collection. We will notify you once your order is ready to be picked up.
While we try to keep as many products in our store as possible, we only have limited room for stock. We offer some products as "online-only", which means we don't stock them in our physical store and have them stored off-site at our warehouse.
If you opt for "in-store pick up" for your web order, please be aware there may be a short delay while we arrange to have the stock sent to our retail store from the warehouse.
