Grind Blox! AKA Blocks.
One fixed piece that bolts under your trucks.

It's super easy to install and comes with flatter cushions if you need extra space for Grind Trucks!

Designed and produced by the infamous Disco Steward, these will help you stall with confidence and slide for days.

We can help you decide which size to get, by using a great guide the Disco has made - let us know the angle of your kingpins (10, 15, 45) and either the axle spread or the distance between the kingpins at the base plate.

Here's the link to the Disco Blox size chart for your reference.

Sounds confusing? We know about all the plates on the market, call us and we can talk you through getting the right size!

These 'low rider' Grind Blox run 30mm from coping to kingpin nut, so they're shallower. This suits skates with small wheels and short kingpins!

If you're looking for a 'deeper' grind block, check out the original version here (40mm).

At Bayside we try to keep something in stock in each size, usually in black, but if there's a particular model and size you need definitely let us know and we'll get it made.

Compatability varies between different brands and plate models, so if you're unsure of whether or not they'll fit onto your plates, please contact us with your plate model and size.

For Powerdyne Revenge, Reactor and Rival plates, you'll need to purchase the Radius Kingpin Kit due to the taper on the kingpins.

Slide Blox

I had ordered the wrong size and after second thoughts, messaged the Bayside Blades customer service team and had the order changed in a jiffy. These were super easy to install and had helpful instructions and have helped me learn drop-ins, stalls, and hopefully slides.

Great for lock but not for slide

I opted for the Bont park stars park package and found the discotrux a little shorter than my old sure grip hangars so my standard sized discoblox felt way too low and slippery. The lowrider name is a bit confusing as they are actually shorter than the regular discoblox, but this was perfect for me while I transitioned to the new skate. I can still do slides on tall ramps because of the angle but small ramps its impossible. What I love about these lowrider is the security I feel when locking on. If you want to skate vert or not worry about slides then I highly rate them - they are very stable and light even with smallish wheels - I use 53’s. Now I’m comfortable with the boot I’m going back to the full-sized discoblox and going to get tall wheels so hopefully that will give me the right balance of lock versus slide that suits my style of skating.

Love em

The slide blox were too small but I had a friend who I swapped with so it all worked it. Love these skates!
