My introduction to skating was as a child, when I put a pair I found in an op-shop on and proceeded to leave the store (whoops) and roll downhill into oncoming traffic; needless to say I was hooked and they were now mine by right having survived the trial.
Skating found its way back to me 6 years ago and since then I’ve made up for lost time and have far too many (never enough!) skates. I feel most at home with wheels on my feet and find great freedom in the agility and maneuverability of my Slalom skates, and speed skates scratch the itch of ‘gotta go fast zoomy zoom go brrr’
I’ve been lucky enough to be a member of the Bayside Blades family since 2020, and continue to love working alongside incredible people who share my passion for skating, and helping others experience the joy we all share from our various wheel-based shenanigans!
