Better known in the derby-verse as Smax since 2012 after discovering the league in my hometown in North East Victoria, I trained for two years before my first bout in May 2014. I moved to Melbourne later that year and have been a member of Kingston City Rollers since May 2015. Blocker, jammer, pivot, NSO, vice-captain, I love doing all the things!
Roller derby has been the only sport that I've ever stuck with, I was never big on any kind of sport when I was younger, but once I discovered derby I was hooked from the very first time I put skates on my feet!
I love the community aspect and "family" of derby, it's truly an incredible sport!
