Learn to rollerblade in a safe, supportive environment. Build your skating skills and confidence while having fun along the way! 

Current International Inline Skating Association qualified instructors conduct all lessons. You will be encouraged to progress at your own pace.

Most lessons are conducted at Thomas St reserve, due to its central location, it's flat with new concrete, is very quiet and is protected from the wind. Most importantly, there is plenty of grass to practice on before venturing out onto the path!

The prices for 1 hour lessons are as follows:

Students are to bring their own skates fitted with an operational heel brake. It is highly recommended to wear protective gear, especially helmet and wrist-guards as well as knee and elbow guards.

Children under the age of 15 are required to wear all protective gear including a helmet.

Pathway Progressions

This is a 5 week program designed to take the first time skater from those first few nervous steps through to tackling the pathway around Melbourne and/or the Bayside Blades Tuesday night members skate with confidence.          Please contact the shop with regard to times and locations.                                                               Suitable for 12year olds and above.

Pathway Progression price $75.00

This 6 week program takes the intermediate skater to a new level. Designed to cover all aspects of fitness such as functional strength, balance, aerobic capability and flexibility and focusing on developing strength in the lower limbs and core muscles which help stability, hence a more effortless skating style.
