About Bayside Blades School Holiday Programs | During each school holidays Bayside Blades conducts skate clinic for our members, these are free of cost, members only, activities. There are clinics suitable for all ages and skating abilities running during every school break. Clinics are conducted in, Speed Skating, Freestyle Slalom, Aggressive (skate park), Hockey and Recreational skating. The aim of these clinics are to allow skaters to experience different forms of skating, to understand the basics of each discipline and above all have fun on skates. | Recreational Clinic | | Conducted as 2 clinics, under and over 10 years, the focus of this clinic is to get out and about on your skates, experience skating in new areas and build confidence skating on unfamiliar pathways, slopes or rougher ground safely. | | Over 10 years Recreational group take a break from skating the Brighton Beach foreshore pathway for a group photo. Recreational clinics are typically 1 hour 30 minutes long and run along the Brighton foreshore. |  | Aggressive (Skate Park) Clinics | | These clinics are also conducted in 2 separate groups, under and over 10 years. The under 10's clinic is run at the Highett Rd skate park and focuses on getting started in a skate park, using your protective gear to fall properly and learning to roll down the ramps safely.
