Rollerblading Lessons

Learn to skate, Rollerblading lessons at Bayside Blades
Learn to rollerblade in a safe, supportive environment.

Build your skating skills and confidence while having fun!

International Inline Skating Association, IISA, qualified instructors conduct all lessons.

Progress at your own pace.

Your safety is extremely important to us.

The prices for 1 hour lessons are as follows:

One on One

$70

One on Two

$35ea

One on Three

$30ea

Group lesson (4 to 10 people)

$25 ea

All prices are GST inclusive

For other class size arrangements, please contact the shop.

Students are to bring their own skates fitted with an operational heel brake. It is highly recommended to wear protective gear, especially helmet and wrist-guards as well as knee and elbow guards.

Children under the age of 15 are required to wear all protective gear including a helmet.

Skate and protective gear hire can be arranged for an additional $5 per class.

Skating Basics

Run as a group lesson, every Saturday, this lesson covers all the basics to get you started.
This lesson cover, correct stance, basic stride, using the heel brake as well as the rules and responsibilities relating to getting the best out of your skating.
Skating Basics is run every Saturday, please contact the shop to confirm your booking and class time.

Suitable for 12year and above.

	Skating Basics 4 week course - $100.00

1 hour Skating Basics lesson, $25.00

Pathway Progressions

This 5 week program is designed to take the first time skater from those first few nervous steps on wheels through to tackling the pathway around Melbourne with confidence. You may like to join our Tuesday night members skate group after graduation.

Skate Park getting Started Course

Designed to give you the skills to use your local skate park with confidence, this 4 week course covers; dropping in, grinding, falling safely and choosing lines in the park. Please contact the shop for details on start times and location for the next available class.

Suitable for 10year olds and above.

	Skate Park Getting Started 4 week course - $100.00

Junior Learn to Skate (under 10ys)

Run as a group lesson, every Friday, this lesson covers all the basics needed to get started on skates.
This course covers, correct stance, basic stride, using the heel brake and turning. The emphasis here is on having fun while you learn to skate.
